PINTV will be hitting our screens week one term 3. Pukekohe Intermediate students are waiting in anticipation, for the first live recording.
Kevin Pope, Rebekah Pearson and Sarah Poutai have all been working on this station since the middle of term 1. Everybody involved can’t wait to get started because finally all the hard work would have payed off. Roughly 40 students and staff altogether have their own specific jobs, 16 students will take turns as presenters, a few of those students will go out and interview students and staff.
The station is mainly to help kids know where they are supposed to be and when, the broadcast will screen every morning. A special feature is Te Reo Tuesday, this will help students to learn the Maori language.
“As a student at Pukekohe Intermediate I loved that we had the chance to be involved with PINTV,” says Karlene Hunter one of the presenters. All the kids had the opportunity to apply and be apart of the TV station whether it would be in front of the camera or behind, there was a job for any kid who was prepared to put in the time.

We do this because our teacher told us that she meet a woman who really like to type. Our teacher told that the lady told her we have to tilt your computer to how you want it, feet flat on the ground, straight back and make shore that your not always looking at your fingers because it makes your neck really hurt. That's why we are practicing our free online touch typing.

Mathletics
This is my mathematics avatar. Ever day when it is maths or before school we go on our computers and play mathematics. So if it is our maths group turn to go on mathleticsc we have to spend 10 minutes on live that means we get to go online and compete with other students around the world with our basic facts, and until that period finishes we have to go on activities. So we learn about algebra, time, patterns and a lot of different things. Out of the hole school only our class room 23 get to have an mathematics account. If our principle Mr Sweeney payed for the hole school he would have to pay $900.00 per class room. We got an mathematics account because we were the digital class room. I think mathematics is really good for your education and it is a lot of fun to compete with other students around the world.
