House Sports
It's sunny warm with a light breeze in Pukekohe, the perfect weather conditions for netball and turbo touch. Pukekohe teacher Mrs Hancock organized the perfect day for students to enjoy the last day of the term. Students from different classrooms competed in the netball tournament and a turbo touch tournament. Students in Hillary house combined wit year sevens and eights to form 4 teams to compete in netball and turbo touch. Ngata, Rutherford, Sheppard and Batten did the same thing so they can compete in the one day tournament. The netball results were stunning. In third place was Batten B, in second place was Hillary C and in first place the overall champions for 2010 was Hillary D. The turbo touch results were outstanding. The final two teams were Ngata was nonstop able, this year Batten came an awesome placing of second place and this years 2010 champions was Ngata. The day was a day to remember, everybody had lots of fun including the staff. Thanks to Mrs Hancock this is one of the best days that Pukekohe Intermediate School has enjoyed.
